Three cities. Three unforgettable expressions of Carnaval. February 17 marks Carnaval celebrations around the world—and in this YouTube Exclusive, Ian & Justine take you inside three of the most extraordinary parties on Our Looney Planet!

First stop: Rio de Janeiro, Brazil—Ian takes samba lessons in preparation for Carnaval. Wearing a very cute outfit, watch as young Ian does his English best to move his hips, dancing from street party to street party before arriving at the legendary Sambadrome Marquês de Sapucaí for a spectacle unlike any other.

Next, it's on to Port of Spain, Trinidad, where Justine—wearing hardly anything at all—chips and whines to the infectious beat of steel drums, diving headfirst into one of the Caribbean's most vibrant Carnaval traditions.

Finally, it's on to New Orleans, Louisiana, to celebrate Mardi Gras! Justine explores the city's distinct neighborhoods, each offering its own blues-and-jazz-infused spin on this world-famous celebration, and even throws beads along the Bourbon Street parade route.
