Our Looney Planet thrives on a multiplicity of voices—and we want to hear yours. Video submissions are open, and this month’s theme is: ANALOG TRAVEL.

Below are 2 prompts. Pick one!

  1. Share a story from your own analog travel past:

    We want to know about times that you’ve maneuvered through the world without a digital companion. Maybe you got a recommendation from a local instead of from Yelp. Maybe your phone died and a total stranger helped you find your way. Maybe you got soaked to the skin because you didn’t check the weather app.

  2. Try analog travel yourself:

    Channel your inner Globe Trekker and take a short field trip without your phone! Go for a walk, bring some cash, and your common sense. Take a left instead of your usual right. Go to that cafe you’ve been meaning to try out, ask for the time, or simply say, “Hi” to someone new.
